Schedule

Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival -/-)

Arrive to Luang Prabang by flight from Bangkok. Welcomed by FOOTSTEPS TRAVEL tour guide in Laos and transfer to your Hotel. Have city tour to visit Wat XiengThong, Wat Mai and Phousi temple on the hill for the sunset and overview of Luang Prabang. Dinner and overnight Luang Prabang.

Day 2: Luang Prabang (B/-/-)

After breakfast have a boat trip on the Mekong river to visit the village of rice wine fermented at Ban Sang Hai and explore Pak Ou cave. Have a picnic lunch on the way. Afternoon, visiting the Kuangsi waterfall. Dinner and overnight Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang - Vientiane (B/-/-)

After breakfast, visiting the museum and the weaving village of Lu ethnic minority at Ban Phanom. Transfer to airport to take flight Luang Prabang – Vientiane. Check-in Hotel. After lunch have a half-day city tour to visit famous temples Wat Pra Keo, Wat Sisaket, That Luang and Anousavari. Enjoy dinner with Lao Traditional dance. Overnight Vientiane.

Day 4: Vientiane - Hanoi (B/-/-)

Morning visit the weaving village at Ban Nong Bouathong. After lunch transfer to International airport to take flight Vientiane – Hanoi. Greeted by FOOTSTEPS TRAVEL tourguide in Hanoi and transfer to the city centre to check-in. Enjoy a unique show of Water Pupper before return to your hotel. Dinner and overnight Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi (B/-/-)

Early departure for Halong Bay, a World Heritage with thousands of limestone and dolomite island and islets. Stop on the way to visit Hai Duong “Green bean cake town” or Ceramic at Dong Trieu. Upon arrival in Halong take a sailing boat to cruise the splendid bay to visit its breathtaking seascape created by the rocky islands and emerald calm water, with stopovers to visit the grottoes inside islands and swimming. A Lunch of fresh seafoods will be arranged on board. Late afternoon back to Hanoi and if your time is not limited, have a break at the Hong Ngoc Charity Centre where children present their plenty pretty products made of stone. Overnight Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi - Perfume Pagoda - Hanoi (B/-/-)

Unlike popular visits to temples, a trip to the Perfume Pagoda is a best combination of religious pilgrimage, boat trip between splendid limestone mountains and light mountain climbing until you reach the Perfume Grotto, the most sacred pagoda to see for the Vietnamese Buddhists in springtime. Picnic lunch en route. The whole trip takes about 08 hours before you return to Hanoi in late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi - Saigon (B/-/-)

A half-day city tour of Vietnam’s capital city. Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, old-colonial architecture, pretty lakes and ancient temples. The city tour will comprise wellknown sights at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his old house, the Temple of Literature and the Lake of the Restored Sword. A cyclo tour in the Old Quarter will complete your trip in Hanoi and take you back to the car for transferring to the airport for the flight to Saigon.

Welcomed by FOOTSTEPS TRAVEL tourguide in Saigon and check-in hotel. After lunch of delicious Vietnamese foods, visit the historic Reunification Palace that witnessed the end of the 2nd Indochinese War in 1975, explore bustling China Town, Cho Lon (Binh Tay market) and Thien Hau pagoda. Dinner and overnight Saigon.

Day 8: Saigon - Mekong Delta - Saigon (B/-/-)

Explore the life on the Mekong Delta by overlanding to Vinh Long and take a boat from here to float along the narrow waterways to witness the daily rituals of the exciting river life with floating market full of fresh fruits and river products. Take stops at several family-operated cottage industries specializing in the production of fish sauce, tofu and rice paper. Back to Saigon for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Saigon - Tay Ninh - Cuchi - Saigon (B/-/-)

Enjoy a morning drive through typical southern Vietnamese countryside to Tay Ninh Province, the birthplace of CAO DAI, a local sect of Buddhism, and join a memorable noon daily ceremony of the Caodai followers. After lunchtime back to a historic site of the Vietnam War to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network constructed by the local people and guerillas to survive the war against the American explosive attacks. Back for dinner and overnight in Saigon.

Day 10: Saigon - Siemriep (B/-/-)

At leisure until your guide arrive to accompany you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for to fly Saigon – Siemreap.
Welcomed in Siem Reap and transfer to hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon depart to visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom: the Bayon temple, the Baphuan, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. View the sunset at Angkor Wat. Dinner with Apsara traditional dance and overnight Siemreap.

Day 11: Siemriep (B/-/-)

After breakfast, visit the Ta Prohm temple which is a wonderful combination of human genius and natural beauty. Giant trees have grown there for centuries. Visit Ta keo, “Jewel of Crystal” is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva and was erected at the end of the 10th century. Continue to visit the Thommanon, the Chau Say temples and the natural lake of Sras Srang. Lunch. Visit Angkor Wat; The founder was Suryavarman II who reigned Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century and dedicated them to the Hindu God Vishnu. The plan of the pyramidal conception of the temple combined with spaces, alleys, ditches is an ancient masterpiece of architectural design and construction. Dinner and overnight Siemreap.

Day 12: Siemriep - Banteay Srey -Siemriep (B/-/-)

After breakfast, spend the entire morning in one of the jewels of Angkor, the Banteay Srey Temple which means “Citadel of Women”. This temple is built of pink sandstone and presents the most graceful carvings in stone you might ever seen in your life. The temple is dedicated to the god Shiva. After a picnic lunch near the site, continue to Kbal Spean, the river of thousand Lingas, the phallic symbol of the God Shiva. Arrival near the site, walk for an hour through the forest to arrive at Kbal Spean. Return to Siem Reap for dinner and your last night there.

Day 13: Siemriep - Departure (B)

After breakfast, the time before departure is on your own, transfer to the airport for your flight either to Phnom Penh or international destination.

Day 14: Hanoi Departure (B)

Today, you will have some free time for your own activities in Hanoi then you will be transferred to the Noi Bai international airport for your departure.
