Xo Village Our tour guide & driver will pick you up at around 8.00AM at your hotel or residence in Hanoi and drive you along the scenic country road to Mai Chau, this valley offers a splendid vista of a valley surrounded by lush landscape and stilt houses inhabited mainly by the White Thai ethnic group.
On arrival in Maichau, you will be welcome with some green tea and lunch will be serving in a house built on stilt. Afterward, we start with the trek to the Xo village (about 18km walk) where you will stay for the first night. Overnight in Xo village.
After breakfast, we say goodbye to our host family and walk to Buoc village. Along the walk ( about 18km), you will have great photo opportunity of the daily lives of the white Thai people such as rice planting, herding water buffalos and building traditional houses. A picnic lunch will be providing en route before we arrive to Van village where we will stay for our second night.Van Village
After breakfast at the home stay, we walk on the small village roads which run between mountains and rice paddies to Van Mai Village where our driver will pick us up and take us back to Lac village for lunch before the transfer back to Hanoi. We should arrive back in Hanoi at around 5.30pm where your trip ends.
