Description

Sapa is a delightful French hill station built in the early years of the century and one of the most beautiful in Vietnam. High in the mountains of northwestern Vietnam, Sapa offers great hiking and a kaleidoscope of ethnic groups. This trip provide you a glimpse of local hilltribes and opportunities to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sapa. Spending a night with a family of the Dzay will be a memorable experience.

Route: Ha Noi – Lao Cai – Sapa – Ha Noi

Day 1: Hanoi – Train to Laocai

Day 2: Laocai – Sapa – Catcat – Hamrong Mount. (B/L/D)

Day 3 : Sapa – Laochai – Tavan (B/L/D)

Day 4 : Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Supan – Sapa – Hanoi

Day 5: Arrival Hanoi.

Schedule

Day 1: Hanoi - Train to Laocai

Get picked up by free of charge taxi and transferred to Hanoi Railway station for your overnight train journey from Vietnam’s capital city to the border town of Lao Cai. The train departs at 21:15 pm. (No included meal)

Day 2: Laocai - Sapa - Catcat - Hamrong Mount. (B/L/D)

Arriving in Laocai Station at 6h20 – 7h00: Get pick up by shuttle bus to transfer to your hotel in Sapa. Upon arrival we have breakfast and shower before leave out to visit the colourful market of Sapa town. Break off the morning activity in Sapa for lunch in a beautiful mountain view restaurant.

In the afternoon, we start the trek to Cat Cat village of Black H’Mong ethnic minority. Visit the hydro electric power plan which was built by French since 1920 and enjoy the beautiful waterfall nearby where to enjoy the lovely several Sapa minorities performance dances. Return our hotel with a minivan. The rest of time in the afternoon is free to explore the town on your own.We hike up to Ham Rong Mountain, one of the most favourist destination for travelers to enjoy a cool atmosphere, great landscapes from the Cloud Ground for Sapa view, stone garden, garden of medicinal plants, especially the garden of various orchids and visit some specific houses on stilts of Tay ethnic minority. Have dinner at a very fine local restaurant and overnight in hotel in Sapa.

Day 3: Sapa - Laochai - Tavan (B/L/D)

After having breakfast in your hotel, we start a moderate trek to Lao Chai village, following the main road down the hill, to view the Muong Hoa valley and magnificent mountains and rice terrace fields. Soon after break the road we will take stiff slope down to the bottom of Muong Hoa valley to Lao Chai village of Black H’mong minority, where you will experience the extremely special livelihood of those people.

It will be time to have a break and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch prepared by our local guide in a local house. Continuing the trail, we walk from Lao Chai to Ta Van village of Zay ethnic minority. Check in a local Zay people’s house and take a roam around the village or swim in Muong Hoa river. Overnight in this local homestay. (Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner are included)

Day 4: Tavan - Giang Ta Chai - Supan - Sapa - Laocai - Hanoi (B/L/-)

After our breakfast, bit farewell the warmly family, we continue the path to visit Giang Ta Chai village of Red Dzao ethnic minority, the people who wear only the red caft on the head. Return Sapa with a minivan and have lunch in Sapa. Free at leisure until the shuttle bus take us to Lao Cai train station to catch the night train back to Ha Noi.

Day 5: Arrival Hanoi

05.30am, arrive in Hanoi and take your own way to go to your hotel.
